udise.net is an independent information website run by the UDISE.net editorial team. We write plain-language guides about UDISE+, the Government of India’s school education database, for teachers, school heads, data entry operators and parents.
We are not the government
udise.net is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the Ministry of Education, any state education department, or the UDISE+ programme. We cannot log you in to UDISE+, change school or student records, or issue certificates or reports. All of that happens only on the official portal, udiseplus.gov.in, and through your block or district education office.
What we publish
- Explanations of UDISE+ terms such as the UDISE code, PEN and APAAR ID
- Step-by-step walkthroughs of common tasks, with links to the official pages
- Summaries of publicly released UDISE+ data, with the source named
How we write and check our guides
- We base our guides on official sources: the UDISE+ portal, Ministry of Education publications and state education department notices.
- We link to the official source wherever we can, so you can check it yourself.
- UDISE+ changes every academic year. We update guides when we learn of changes, but always confirm deadlines and procedures on the official portal.
- If you find a mistake, tell us through the Contact page. We will review it and correct the guide.
Advertising and sponsored content
The site is funded by advertising. Any article published in return for payment is clearly labelled as sponsored, and links in it carry the rel="sponsored" attribute. Advertisers have no say in our UDISE+ guides.
